“This was the year my husband and myself decided it was time to downsize and get into the home we would ultimately retire in. Little did we know it would come in the form of a new build. Once the house... was underway were told that Bert Vis flooring in Smithville would be where we needed to go to pick out our interior finishes. We were greeted by Sharon who along side with our designer Tracy (Liv4design), worked amazing together. Sharon was knowledgeable, professional and personable. Sharron worked very hard to keep us on budget but still find what worked with our design. What would have been a very stressful day, Sharon made easy and painless. Job well done! Finally after many months came the installation. The whole team did an amazing job. We were told the backsplash alone took 4 days (herringbone pattern), but is such a focal point...stunning. Our home has area's of carpeting, tile and hardwood. All of it was installed beautifully. It is very clear to see that there is a great deal of pride in the job they do. We did have a slight problem a couple of weeks after moving in with one area of the hardwood flooring. I made a call to Bert Vis in the morning and left a message. I was called back within an hour by Walter who set up an appointment to come and see what was going on. Within 2 days of the call Bert came out with one of the boys and the issue was taken care of. Outstanding customer service! We have since gone back and purchased tile for around our fireplaces and had installed. Once again, no surprises. They did a beautiful job and we couldn't be happier. We were amazed at the selection that Bert Vis flooring had. There were prices to match any budget, and from a design perspective they had product to match any style. If you are seeking outstanding service, product and professionalism, this is the company you need to be purchasing from.”
